Who am I?
I am someone in process. That has many sides. I am defined by Christ, being a husband, father, and a minister. I enjoy Auburn football, music, culture, church stuff, reading, Chopped, Mythbusters, Survivor, TED, and the internet.
I currently guide Young Adult Ministries at FBC McKinney. In many ways, I in the midst of the victories and struggles of this age group. I have been married for 14 years and have three children.
The local church has been used by God to draw my heart toward Him. I started following Christ at a young age and the church provided a dynamic place for me to grow in my understanding of God and His character. It was during that time that God planted the seeds of desire to be involved in reflecting His heart for the world.
These seeds began to lead to harvest in serving with Campus Crusade for Christ for seven years (at Alabama, East Asia, and Georgia) and at a church in Frisco, Texas for four years. I received my formal training in ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. I have been with First Baptist Church of McKinney for the last 5 years.
